In every case a written estimate of costs is provided prior to the funeral.
Whilst the Department of Work & Pensions may offer financial support, subject to certain criteria, any payment made usually only represents a contribution towards funeral costs and does not generally cover the full cost of the funeral. It is likely that you will need to fund the remaining balance yourself. We can offer assistance with the completion of relevant paperwork to make such claims.
It is essential that we are advised prior to funeral arrangements being made if you intend to make a claim and we will be happy to guide you.
